Learn Legal is a free site of LLB notes, audio and practice questions. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We have tried to keep it short and plain.
You can read the notes without an account, and we do not ask who you are. We collect data only when you sign in or use a feature that needs one.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you do, you will be signed out and your device preferences will reset.
The read-aloud feature uses the speech voices built into your browser or device. Depending on your device, the voice may be processed by your operating system or browser vendor. We do not send the note text to our own servers for this.
We use Google for sign-in, and hosting and database providers to store the site and its data. They process data only to provide those services to us. We do not use any other third-party tracking or advertising tools.
We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and learning data, except what we must keep for security or legal reasons. Server logs are kept for a short period.
To use any of these, email us at contact@learnlegal.in. We will reply within a reasonable time.
We use standard measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections and restricted access to our database. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Learn Legal is meant for law students. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will also tell signed-in users on the site. Your use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
